Perry is an idiot. He will drive away more voters than he'll attract with his current stance.

Of course, Gingrich used to praise Romney's health care plan but now is against it. Flip -flop...seems to be the calling card of this group of candidates.

<< He said it particularly moved him that the governor had shifted his beliefs after speaking with someone who had been born from rape. >>

He would force all women to give birth to their rapists' babies because of hearing one person's story?

You're right. He's an idiot.

So now that makes Perry, Santorum (unless it's his wife), Bachmann, and Gingrich (am I missing anyone?) who think that abortion should not be available under any circumstances and that women/girls should bear children in the cases of incest and/or rape.

What about the part "if it threatens a womans life?" How is that valuing life or women? Really, that's the one that always gets me. It shows a total lack of value for living, breathing women. I always think "way to show respect for women," we have no value to people who believe our lives are worthless.

Perry like all his Republican counterparts, or Democrat opponents Obama, Clinton and any professional politician I left out, save possibly Ron Paul, will say whatever they think will get them elected.

It's looking like a race between Obama and Romney. Which is like a race between identical twins in terms of their belief systems.

This cycle it appears CNN, MSNBC and Fox News all want Romney to run against Obama to assure we get the same President no matter who wins.

All the other candidates are more than a little extreme. The voters of this nation, though the bases don't realize it, are looking for a person with the ability to think, compromise and lead us all.

Obama, for all the screeches about "socialism" is a moderate. Romney is one too though he's so polished and glib that I sometimes wonder who the "real" Mitt is.

All the others? Weird, wild, arrogant, and in some cases, heart-stoppingly stupid.
