He didn't bash Las Vegas, but there were two times that he used Las Vegas as an example. Makes sense because Wells Fargo was planning on spending 12 days for a bash in Las Vegas right after receiving billions in bailout money. The other was talking about people needing to prioritize their spending when they need to tighten their belts. Again, that's not bashing.

Wow, I have no idea where you are getting that from.

The fact is that it doesn't matter how great of credit one has, the banks aren't refinancing for whatever stupid reason, even though it makes sense to help people lower their monthly payments, making it more likely that they will continue to make their payments. Simple common sense, something that the banks apparently don't have. The banks didn't have any problems refinancing everyone as interest rates starting dropping around 2004. They apparently didn't consider "refinancing" to be "stealing." Good grief.

Who is telling someone to give money that wasn't theirs? What are you talking about?

***The people still owe on their mortgages the same exact amount as before the refinance, just with lower interest rates.***

Yep.

No, the U.S. government is going to tell banks to stop being obstinate and refinance people. That's not stealing nor is it telling them what to do with their money. They'll still get paid, just not at the higher interest rates...something that certainly didn't bother banks, like I said, a few years back.
