<< We have soooo many problems in this country and the only thing liberals can find to talk about is Sarah Palin. Weird, because when Bush was president, they were talking about jobs, failing economy, skyrocketing gas prices and spiraling housing market. I wonder why those important things don't concern them, but Sarah Palins account of the Paul Revere ride is top priority. >>

Back to making things up, I see.

And if those other things are so important to you, why don't you start a thread and tell us about it?

What exactly am I making up? Are you really trying to tell me that when Bush was president that nobody on these boards ever blamed him for a thing? Lol, now who's making things up?

What would be the point of starting a debate on those subjects on these boards? Nobody here is interested in real debate. Just Bush and Palin bashing. That would be a complete waste of time, IMO. All the problems of the world today are because of Bush and Palin, right? Obama is responsible for nothing, he is doing the best he can, golfing, hob nobbing with royalty, inviting Hollywood celebs to the white house for dinner, etc, etc.

When is he going to get serious about leading the country out of this mess? It's been three years! Nothing has gotten better but pretty much everything has gotten worse! Why is he getting the free pass from the progressives?

1) No. You are misquoting me. Palin inferred by her statement Revere DELIBERATELY STOPPED & WARNED THE BRITISH ALONG THE WAY. He did not. He lied to them after being apprehended in order to make it sound like American troops had more fire power than they actually did. IF you read her quote, you can clearly see that is not what Palin was saying.

2) Palin has many more faux pas than make this board. I posted this because I was amazed that she would answer the question put to her with that specific response. And then later whine that it was a "gotcha" question.

Since she went on to 'explain' her remarks later, it's pretty clear what she was thinking. Did she get the whole thing wrong? No. But, after being questioned about the accurateness of her response, did she go & make sure she had it right? NO. THAT is what makes me question her ability to be anything more than a reality show type.

FYI, I don't hate Palin...I don't hate Bush either. Don't know either of them personally & I try very hard never to hate others - aside from a select few such as child molesters, pervs, etc. So, I'd appreciate it if you would stop labelling me (& others) as such. Again, broad brushes & labels get you nowhere.

And yes, the information from the Revere website refutes Palin's assertions that he deliberately warned the British DURING his ride.

It took Bush 8 years to destroy our economy & get us involved in a war we never should have begun (which cost us way too much in American lives alone, not mention the financial debt). And, FYI, we have dicussed the above topics - you should check out the archives.

But we also realize that it's going to take more than 2 1/2 yrs to get us out of this. But hey, since you're so 'patient'...why hasn't the GOP controlled House done more??? Hmmmm? Do I agree with everything that Pres. Obama has done? No. But I do believe he's trying very hard to find a solution to all of this...however, both sides of the aisle need to work together...

Like I've said before, I really, actually admire Palins ability to get people to hand her their money, just for being.........HER! Face it, a lot of people find her totally obnoxious, but it doesen't keep her from raking in the dough.

Well said. And I agree...however, I'm still amazed by those who support her so blindly. LOL!

This:

<< We have soooo many problems in this country and the only thing liberals can find to talk about is Sarah Palin. >>

<< ...but Sarah Palins account of the Paul Revere ride is top priority. >>

You find one thread on this board about Palin's comments on Paul Revere, and make such sweeping false statements.

I see someone started a thread about Weiner. Wonder if that will satisfy everyone.
