I wonder if one of her goals is to rewrite history.... ;)

There you go again.

Accusing liberals of believing "all the problems of the world" have a darn thing to do with Palin? Really?

No wonder you don't want to start a thread yourself. You're right, there's no point in it.

Gosh, didn't the liberal media and the liberal congress quicky blame Palin for the Gabby Giffords shooting? Somehow the actions of a mad man were her fault because she is a 2nd amendment advocate. The president even took it upon himself to make a call for civility on both sides of the aisle, yet the liberals in the media still feel like it's perfectly fine to call Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin sluts.

I am surprised at all the so called "open minded" progressives on these boards that they don't see the blatant hypocrisy of it all. I guess they are not as open minded as they think they are. Lol.. I guess thats how the liberals get the reputation of being elitist snobs and anyone who doesn't have their pov are stupid, idiot, rednecks. Why is it that so many liberals think they are just so much smarter than everyone else? I didn't hear any liberal comment on how stupid the democratic congressman Hank Johnson is for stating he was worried that Guam was going to capsize and tip over. Nobody said he was too stupid to hold office. Plenty of politicians say stupid things.

Isn't it interesting that the progressives on these boards have selective concern over who is too stupid to hold office,,,mainly Bush and Palin. But, never, ever a democrat.

Yep, there we go with the "blatant hypocrisy" again. The names may change, but the phrases stay the same.

<>

I don't know if there was a discussion about it here, but there certainly was on the Politics board about how stupid this guy was.

Yeah...but it's part and parcel with the whole "I hate Sarah Palin for no reason" thing that erupts from the left every couple of weeks or so. ; )

*** 1) No. You are misquoting me. Palin inferred by her statement Revere DELIBERATELY STOPPED & WARNED THE BRITISH ALONG THE WAY. He did not. He lied to them after being apprehended in order to make it sound like American troops had more fire power than they actually did. IF you read her quote, you can clearly see that is not what Palin was saying.

*** Well said. And I agree...however, I'm still amazed by those who support her so blindly. LOL!

FYI, I don't blindly support anyone - never have, never will. During the last Presidential election, I even considered McCain. However, the GOP platform wasn't something I could support. And then when he named Palin as his running mate...well, that sealed the deal. I very carefully compared Hillary Clinton & Barack Obama. In the end, I chose Obama - not because of his political party affiliations but because he met the most points on my list. I never have nor never will vote purely on political party affialitions. FYI, I haven't even always voted Democrat...wow....

Very few of Palin's 'oopsies' make it to this board because I tend to ignore her...as do most of the regulars here. This one was more interesting than most, that's all. However, I find it interesting how often conservatives will bring her up in other threads that have nothing to do with her.....

We see this story differently. What Palin's words said to me (and MANY others), were apparently not what you read. Your interpretation was different. So be it.

Palin isn't worth this much of my time...and the same old arguments about Bush are stale. He lied. The lies he & Cheney told Congress are WHY he had support initially. When the lies were exposed, that support went away. That's all I'm going to say in response to you on this topic.
