The Pledge: Grover Norquist's hold on the GOP

I find Norquist's "pledge" & the strangle hold on Republicans most disconcerting. What he is doing is fundamentally wrong in a democracy, IMO. Any thoughts?

If you didn't watch this segment 60 Minutes last Sunday....

Read or watch interview, see link.......

The standard on the board is the same for everyone.

I think my posts have been fairly civil, and I've gotten two posts deleted and e-mails from ivillage in just the past 3 days.

So you might as well cut it out. No one feels sorry for the conservatives who get banned repeatedly, especially since you have no knowledge of what's going on with anyone else. (probably cause we don't post ad nauseum about it. we just deal with it.)

Well you see Lizzie, this forum holds conservatives to one standard and progressives to another. When a community group or union do the same thing Mr. Norquist does, that's different. Not because it is different, but because it's a progressive doing the same thing, and because they are progressive ... THAT is different. :)
