What's wrong with these parents besides being lazy? Why subject your child to the trauma of having teeth filled?

I remember anxiously sitting in the waiting room for my DD's first check-up. I was more nervous than she was.

Same here but they try to check the kids first. It's on a first come, first serve basis & usually people will start lining up the day before. Even then, they never get to see everybody. Pretty sad IMHO.

You'd think common sense would get the insurance companies to provide at least preventative & basic care for people. They would save themselves money in the long run...bu they're only interested in what they are making now (because long term is covered by the money that they've squirreled away in their corporate investments, etc.).
