A Florida pastor's planned demonstration outside a Michigan mosque was scuttled Friday after a jury determined the protest would constitute a breach of the peace and he was briefly jailed for refusing to pay what authorities called a "peace bond."

Code pink does a lot of stuff, I've seen unions do some nasty stuff in Wisconsin. If this guy can go to the clink for protesting, will those at code pink, union members, or other more popular groups suffer a similar fate?

I don't like this pastor, and don't believe his protests are helpful. However, our Supreme Court has ruled protests of our war dead, which are outrageous, are also protected.

I don't believe the popularity of a cause, of concern about offending Muslims, should decide case law in the U.S. We can't make Muslims a specially protected class and deny Constitutional rights to those who oppose them.

Attention getting trouble maker belonging to the same ilk as the Fred Phelp's clan. I'd like to see them committed but that's not my call.
