Quran-burning pastor jailed; planned protest canceled
A Florida pastor's planned demonstration outside a Michigan mosque was scuttled Friday after a jury determined the protest would constitute a breach of the peace and he was briefly jailed for refusing to pay what authorities called a "peace bond."

Attention getting trouble maker belonging to the same ilk as the Fred Phelp's clan. I'd like to see them committed but that's not my call.
I don't like this pastor, and don't believe his protests are helpful. However, our Supreme Court has ruled protests of our war dead, which are outrageous, are also protected.
I don't believe the popularity of a cause, of concern about offending Muslims, should decide case law in the U.S. We can't make Muslims a specially protected class and deny Constitutional rights to those who oppose them.
