I wish the Royal couple every happiness. :smileyhappy:

I've set-up to record the event incase I'm not awake at 4 AM.

Prince William and Kate Middleton

The wedding ceremony will be the epitome of "Britishness", St James's Palace says.

Prince William and Kate Middleton say they have been "incredibly moved" by the affection shown to them since they announced their engagement.

In a message in their official wedding programme they thanked "everyone most sincerely for their kindness".

Details of Friday's ceremony at Westminster Abbey have been published.

The order of service reveals Miss Middleton will vow to "love, comfort, honour and keep" but not obey Prince William.

The service will be the epitome of "Britishness", St James's Palace said. More at link plus other links...

I watched highlights on the news this morning. They looked so happy! She was beautiful! I wish them all the luck for a long & happy marriage. I think Lady Di would have liked Kate a great deal.

I woke-up at 5 AM & started watching the beginning of my recording, while it still recorded. I watched all 6 hours of the BBC broadcast from our local PBS. Great coverage!
Loved the bride's mother's elegant outfit, my fave. The womens' hats were quite the spectacle from the sublime to the ridiculous. Prince Philip has aged very well he'll be 90 next month!
Westminster Abbey is the perfect place for a Royal wedding. Loved every second. :)

Fun! I remember going to this little shop not far from where we lived & my mom would 'splurge' & buy British Lemon Curd (imported!!). She'd use it to make 'lemon tarts'. Then the Crumpet shop opened up at the Farmer's Market (downtown Seattle) & we'd go every couple of weeks & buy freshly made crumpets & take them home & freeze them.
