Rush Limbaugh calls college student a 'slut'

http://now.msn.com/now/0229-limbaugh-calls-woman-a-slut.aspx

Rush Limbaugh today called a women's health advocate and Georgetown Law student a "slut." The Huffington Post transcribed Limbaugh's comments on Sandra Fluke, who'd spoken to a Democratic panel on the benefits of birth control: "[Fluke] testifies she's having so much sex she can't afford her own birth control pills, and she wants President Obama to provide them, or the Pope. ... What does it say about the college co-ed Susan [sic] Fluke, who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex. What does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute." Limbaugh then corrected himself: "So she's not a slut. She's round-heeled." Round-heeled, for the record, means "slut."

You again fail to note that oral contraceptives are used to treat other womens repropuctive health issues such as polycystic ovarian disease, severe dymonorrhea, PMS and PMDD. Why should women be forced to go to a secondary health provider outside of their employer sponsered healthcare

I'm sure the Doc would note that the medication in question was being prescribed " to treat other womens repropuctive health issues such as polycystic ovarian disease, severe dymonorrhea, PMS and PMDD". The insurance company will cover it as they would cover any other medication related to women's health issues, as that private company sees fit. The free market would suggest that if you don't like the coverage, change insurance. I have.
Is Obamacare mandating private health insurance companies pay for things related to men's prostate, testicles or vas deferens."?

You would run the numbers in order to be able to make the case that birth control costs more for both taxpayers and insurance providers.

I would rather women be intelligent enough to aquire BC, use it correctly and take care of their own private sex life.

"Insurance companies do as little as possible"
Well that's odd, insurance companies can't figure out, even though their bottom line is at stake, that free BC is much cheaper than pregnancies. I guess all the liberal pundits, and those that agree with them. know more about running an insurance company's finances than they do.

Well, since his sponsers started pulling their advertising, he is now apologizing, saying it was an attempt at "humor." But what I really wonder, if if it was because outfirs like Bain Capital LLC heard from 1,000s of women that they were going to boycott them and their affiliates like AMC Theaters, Brookstone, Toys R Us, Domino's Pizza, Staples, Burger King, Burlington Coat Factory, Guitar Center, Michael's Arts and Crafts, Hospital Corporation of America, and Gymboree.

I know it came out to me, via three different womens related groups I am affiliated with, which each has hundreds of women in them alone. Garden, spiritual, and health related. We're all the shoppers in the families.

With 40% of pregnancies unplanned if that number could be cut 50% by having women with easy cheap access to birth control then that money would be saved by the insurance companies and the public taxpayer.

Mr. Limbaugh has apologized. During this thread I read liberal posters refer to him as slime, which seems odd as they didn't like Mr. Limbaugh's name calling, but have no trouble name calling themselves. I also read a liberal post Mr. Limbaugh wanted free Viagra for all males, which doesn't seem to be the case.

The liberal reaction to Mr. Limbaugh's inappropriate comment, was itself inappropriate, but also demonstrates a massive double standard imo.
