IMO It's futile to try to stop the flow of weapons into Mexico while the laws in the US are so lax.

I saw an ABC News clip about an ATF investigation where they tried to track guns. Someone bought a truck load of AK 47's and several 50 cal rifles from one store.

Nobody needs to purchase that many at once unless they are a purchasing agent for the National Guard or U.S. military. The gun stores should alert ATF when someone purchases more than 2 or 3 weapons at a time.
