This doesn't sound good. As Obama presides over a government that results in millions unable to afford Wal-Mart prices, his re-election is going to need more than a billion bucks in my opinion. Gas is a quarter the way from $4 to $5 where I live, if he's got $6 or $7 gas, our economy will be very bad. Any candidate that promises to drill, will likely easily defeat no-drill, no jobs, inflation, stagflation Obama. :(

Wal-Mart: Our shoppers are 'running out of money'

Wal-Mart's core shoppers are running out of money much faster than a year ago due to rising gasoline prices, and the retail giant is worried, CEO Mike Duke said Wednesday.

"We're seeing core consumers under a lot of pressure," Duke said at an event in New York. "There's no doubt that rising fuel prices are having an impact."

Another irony. Megastore Walmart, premier purveyor of products which have been outsourced to China, bemoaning that its U.S. customers, with either no jobs or low-paying jobs, have no money to buy Chinese-made products at Walmart.

Oh my.

Non-financial companies sitting on $1.8 trillion in cash. Maybe these geniuses will finally figure out how capitalism works and hire folks with that money so that they will have the money to enhance the bottom line.

They don't have a clue; never did. :| They sell crap that wears out faster and I stopped wasting my $$$ there a long long time ago. Not to mention employees being underpaid like we are a third world country.
