Weiner....

Since we've been accused of being partial because we haven't bothered to discuss this slime, here goes:

  1. Do you believe that Weiner is being picked on unfairly?
  2. Do you believe that Weiner should resign from office?
  3. What is your opinion of Weiner?

Wish we still had the 'poll' option....

Well. since you seem to know, what does this mean?

"The "One Nation Tour" is part of our new campaign to educate and energize Americans about our nation's founding principles, in order to promote the Fundamental Restoration of America."

Does America need fundamental restoration? If so, what exactly is it? The return to slavery? women as chattel? gross inequality between have and have nots?

I'll pass

Sounds like Sarah should have informed Piper that it wasn't a vacation.

Here's what's odd. That somebody would repeatedly haul comparisons to Sarah Palin into post after post--while simultaneously complaining that liberals don't buy her shtick and are feeding her media mania. What's that about?!

This thread was set up to make it clear that liberals do indeed have issues with politicians who cross lines of judgment. You appear to conflate poor judgment with ignorance. I do not. There are plenty of very smart people who nonetheless let their libidos and/or their egos ride roughshod over good sense.

There appears to be some confusion about definitions.

I covered the issue of bad judgment as opposed to lack of intelligence. They're two different concepts. For instance, one could take an IQ test, score at a very high level and still be morally bankrupt, capable of doing stupid things, without actually being either an idiot or a moron.

Also covered the "shtick" issue. Do you want me to define "buy"? Frankly, I don't like being accused of "making things up".
