Fox News asked Sheriff Clarence Dupnik why he has politicized the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Turns out he has no answer. See for yourself.

Where did he mention the right wing, Republicans, or name any names? I think I missed that.

I don't understand what this has to do with anything.

He didn't say one thing about right wingers or Republicans, yet the right wingers and Republicans are having a snit fit about what Dupnik said. How do they know he's talking about them?

Not surprising that someone asked him after the one you posted.

( Looks like you got lucky that he elaborated on his statement.)

What is THAT supposed to mean?

One of the reasonable ways to better assure safety of public officials is for people to stop with the violent rhetoric toward all things government. There is nothing wrong with toning it down, yet there is screaming from people that the liberals are trying to "shut me up." Toning it down and shutting up are two entirely different things.

( yet there is screaming from people that the liberals are trying to "shut me up." )

What people are saying this? I haven't heard any.

(Toning it down and shutting up are two entirely different things.)

Very true. But, until the liberals in the media realize that they are every bit as guilty of violent rhetoric then we will get no where. When the liberal media condemns the hanging of an effigy of Sarah Palin or the interactive "art" of her in a NYC museum where she is kneeling down with her daughter and you are able to take a cardboard gun and pretend to shoot her....then maybe things will change. But...as usual....THOSE types of violent displays are never, ever mentioned on the news.

Sadly, the liberal media doesn't think they are to blame on bit....they continue with their hateful vitriol and ignore the rhetoric coming from the left. I don't remember seeing any outrage....not any....when the book and movie came out about the assassination of Bush. The hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me.
