Dexter, some questions... although I am not expecting answers, you know the usual avoid tactics.

Are greenhouses gasses proven to raise global temperature?

Does humanity create greenhouse gasses?

The way I see this is you can argue all you wish that natural causes impact global temperature - and you would be correct. However, it is *fact* we produce greenhouse gasses. It is *fact* greenhouse gasses have an impact on global temperature. What is speculative is not rising temperatures, it is the consequences of rising temperatures.

It seems to me the responsible course is not choosing to do nothing, it is to act to counter our impact, because we know for certain what conditions are like now, but we are uncertain over future conditions. We can do something now, but if you are wrong, and the evidence is against those of you who say it is a sham, then there will come a time when we can do nothing except evacuate our coastal areas, deal with droughts and super storms and so on.

We are having a huge impact on this planet, and it makes sense that the less we alter current conditions, the better off we are. Those who oppose have nothing more to offer than philosophical opposition. Be creative, businesses will spring up that will be environmentally responsible, and they will thrive long term. Those that don't...

This plays in to the general theme government is bad, but it isn't just government involved on global warming. The whole government is bad mantra is nonsensical, but I'll save that for another time.

I see bad winter storms that make those who scoff at global warming snicker, but the joke is on them, because they don't understand that is an expected result. Snicker all you wish... funny thing is, when we finally are confronted with the reality of global warming, I'd bet a dozen doughnuts the right will find a way to say the left was responsible for not taking action.

Religion is faith based. Global warming is faith based.

Wrong - again.
