How can we keep it short and sweet when the HC reform bill is 2700 pages long and nobody seems to know exactly what's in it and it will cost a trillion dollars?
Fact....our premiums will continue to skyrocket.
Fact...if we can't pay our premiums...the taxpayer will pick up the tab....meaning us.
Fact..insurance companies will continue to rake in billions of $ in profits yearly.
Fact...doctors will continue to get screwed and continue to receive reimbursement cuts (43% by 2014).
Fact...the HC Reform bill "rewards" doctors with good outcomes...resulting in doctors not wanting to accept risky patients or else they will be "punished".
(t's not that the Republicans are stingier; they are always willing to help their own families, those in their own corporation or those in their own church., but not "the others". The difference it that Dems are willing to help those who extend beyond their personal network of contacts, according to the golden rule, regardless of social status, ethnicity or religious affiliation.)
Paint with broad brushes much? OMG! I would love to see some reputable links to back up your absurd statements. TIA.

Hmmm. I have to disagree with that. I've known many leftists in my life and all the leftists I know reall want "the rich" to pay for others AND themselves in regard to healthcare. They don't want to do it themselves.
Case in point a gf of mine who was yelling about healthcare to me: "I can't wait any longer to pay these premiums"!!! You see, she wants someone ELSE to pay for it. I am sure she got a shock when her premiums went up under Obama.
I want to help all...but in a way that works. And I wanted Obama to use everything at his disposal to do so (torte reform and buying across state lines) but he said no to these things. He said "no" to torte reform because the trial lawyers give big money to Democrats.
I swear, every single progressive I know wants OTHERS to pay the tab, not them.
All of the progressives I know HATE religion. They do not want to help religious folk AT ALL particularly Catholics or Christians. Um, they really are biased and really do have preferences to who they want to help, if at all.
