I didn't mean slave labor in the literal sense. I meant it in the sense that they work long hours in harsh conditions for very low wages. Sorry, I assumed you would understand that I didn't mean slave in the literal sense. I'll try to be more clear in the future.

It would seem to me that if these illegal immigrants spent half the time and energy trying to fix their broken country as they spend trying to obtain rights in a country that they entered illegally.....Mexico (and other countries) would be much better off for it. It is so interesting to me to see them protest and complain and boycott....all to gain rights (that they are not entitled to) in America....yet they do absolutely NOTHING to try to improve the country where they came from. To make matters worse, many illegal immigrants are so offended by the American flag and would rather see their Mexican flag flown outside their schools....in CA of course.

You would think that they would at least cherish and honor the American flag as THIS is the country that they are living in and having a better life in. Yet....they continue to fly the Mexican flag proudly.....even though they left that country because it could offer them nothing but poverty and hardship.

That's a rather puerile tactic.

No, you were the one who invoked "law enforcement" in the context of FAIR. Freedoms of speech are vital, even when those who exercise them are bigoted fools.

The tactic of implying that Planned Parenthood is either a contributor to FAIR or currently involved in eugenics is puerile. Totally without merit. Intellectually dishonest and misleading. If you want to debate, stick to the facts, rather than insinuation or innuendo which is totally false. http://www.splcenter.org/publications/the-nativist-lobby-three-faces-of-intolerance/john-tanton-and-the-nativist-movement. As indicated in the link, it was the group Pioneer Fund which both espoused eugenics and contributed heavily to FAIR.

I know the history of nativism rather too well to be drawn by specious logic about "legality". Nativists use the the issue of "legal" versus "illegal" as a screen to cover less appealing traits like fear, resentment, scapegoating and bigotry.

Edited to correct noun/verb agreement.

( it was the group Pioneer Fund which both espoused eugenics and contributed heavily to FAIR.)

Weird....didn't Obama's science czar John Holdren espouse eugenics too?
