One more time. I'm not Jewish. Our school has had a Christmas Tree for years. That's what it's called here. We use to have a a Christmas program for Christmas when I was in school but that was stopped way back in the 60's. We also learned about different religions in school and in my Church. I would suggest taking it up with the school board.

( Jingle Bells is most definitely a Christmas song.)

No, it isn't. It doesn't mention Christmas, Jesus, holidays, or anything that has to do with Christmas. It is a winter song that is sung at Christmas time....but the lyrics to the song have nothing to do with Christmas. It was originally written as a Thanksgiving song.

It is not a Christmas song. It is a song that is sung at Christmas time. Just like "Winter Wonderland". Neither mentions Christmas, Jesus, the new born king, or anything else that has anything to do with the religious holiday of Christmas.

(not everything associated with Christmas has to do with Jesus.)

And who do we have to thank for that???? God forbid we mention Jesus during a holiday that is supposed to be to celebrate his birth.

Thanks for adding to the point that the original poster was trying to make....LOL!
