"Especially if you make more than $10 million. Audits of these folks surged 73% last year, hitting more than 18% of taxpayers in the highest income bracket, according to recently released statistics from the IRS."

Now, if they'd only start going after the corporations, too!

Sorry, but simply being alive isn't a crime...unlike those who abort their children who make a conscious decision to end an otherwise healthy life.

Whether she committed a crime or not isn't up to the ACLU, it will be determined in court...where the ACLU frequently loses.

I think Andrea Yates and Susan Smith would be comforted by your support, and with it would likely be free today.

Yes, most aboritons are done for the convenience of the would-be mother, and referring to the unborn as "innocent" was intended to describe them as having done nothing to deserve being killed.

She didn't break any laws, though I'm sure some of the religious fundamentalists would sure like to make some repressive laws regarding women and pregnancy and what they can and can't do. Good thing that the ACLU and the Constitution are there for women so we don't live under something similar to Sharia law in this country. Women aren't slaves and cannot be forced to use their body for the benefit of anyone else, just as no one can force you to give up organs/blood for the benefit of someone who needs it to live.

<<*** She didn't break any laws

Apparently, some folks feel differently, hence the charges.>>

"Feeling" something is illegal and having an actual law that is being broken are two different things.

Like what?

Um, no.

It's not completely arbitrary and there are certain circumstances when abortion is allowed even after that time.
