"Especially if you make more than $10 million. Audits of these folks surged 73% last year, hitting more than 18% of taxpayers in the highest income bracket, according to recently released statistics from the IRS."

Now, if they'd only start going after the corporations, too!

I don't think that I'd base my vote on this ... a trivial thing in comparison to some of the other issues on the table right now.

Multi trillion dollar deficits, 9-10% unemployment, new wars, old wars continued, promises to close Gitmo rescinded. GE paid $0 taxes on many billions of profit. GE also gets billions in tax credits. While GE is growing it's business offshore, it's CEO is on the Democrats job creation commission.

Yup, offshore jobs, don't pay taxes on billions, and Democrats will fawn all over you. About 18 billion reasons not to vote Democrat. Add in multi trillion dollar deficits, multiply by the number of years the new deficits created by Obama will extend into the future, and you'll have nearly 80 trillion reasons not to vote Democrat.

So one reason to vote Democrat against over 80 trillion reasons not to.

A lot of jobs left the US under the Republicans.

I'd guess Democrats have more cash sheltered. I doubt it matters much, both parties love and court the rich. Boehner has been leading the House, he has been trying to reduce the greatly expanded (by Democrats) government to make room for growth in the private sector. It will take decades to undo the damage of Pelosi, Reid and Obama.

The House can't act alone and the Dems are trying to block the kind of tax cuts and deregulation that will incentivize businesses to create jobs.

Taft, Voinavich and Boehner did nothing to stop

It's not a shallow argument at all.

It may seem trivial to some, but when you think about it, it really does highlight the basic differnce between Dems and GOPers.

Actually, Republicans believe in the "hand-up" not the "hand-out" that Democrats endorse.
