I've never been to one either. I work 2 jobs and have been volunteering for a breast cancer charity.

While the intent of the Tea Party has in large part been economic, you hear very frequently the discussion amongst Tea Partiers the idea that our country was founded as a Christian nation, something that bothers me.

Believe it or not, I worked for the GOP in the late 80s-early 90s. I worked with conservative causes. And then I realized, the GOP wasn't really for smaller government nor for less involvement in individual lives, but rather a different flavor of government involvement. To a large extent I have libertarian (little L, not big) ideas about our government and its involvement in our daily lives.
