REAL Health Care Reform Should Target This

I agree that we have become a drugged out society ~~ and that's *legal drugs! OTC as well as Rx. And the siren call of those TV ads, that your life will just be oh-so-fairy-tale-wonderful" on whatever drug they're selling. :| if you listen to the side effects listed (at least they are forced to do include that information!), it's amazing anyone would take the drug. :smiley-surprised: It's like we're being brainwashed that all we need to do is keep popping pills and our lives will be just perfect. We' be happy, pain-free, have/enjoy sex, won't have to urinate as often. You name it, hey, there's a pill for it! Well, NOT! If there isn't a chronic illness or disease that an Rx can truly help the patient deal with, or stay alive, the drug companies will invent a fairy tale reason. Pills just don't fix everything, and when combined for every little "hang nail" symptom, the drugs do more harm than good, reducing instead of improving quality of life, if not killing you by causing cancer, strokes, heart attacks, or giving you dementia, hallucinations, loss of hearing, loss of eyesight. :( UGH!
