I don't want to add to the insanity but something's gotta give here. I'm sick about this shooting in Arizona and while this gunman likely had mental issues and other problems, I wonder how much of the current political garbage isn't fueling people's delusions. I'm not sure what is worse, though, the pitch of the voices before or after this tragedy? Could this tragedy have been avoided? Would tighter gun laws have even stopped someone like this?

While I personally don't like guns I don't think more laws are the answer. From what I'm told the laws we already have on the books aren't enforced.

So you are denying the allegations that he is legislating from the bench and/or an activist judge?

Did he put forth any new legislation? I don't think so. Is an activist judge one that upholds the Constitution and stops the government from grabbing power and freedoms not enumerated for it in the Constitution? I wish.

um....yes. Funny how when a judge rules in a way that liberals don't like....he all of a sudden becomes an 'activist' judge.

There's no comparison. The sheriff just blurted out stuff without a shred of evidence. The judge wrote a well thought out, articulate opinion fully explaining his decision.

You are going to honesty compare a sheriff, who was directly in charge of a mass shooting investigation, who blamed the shooting on poiticians and pundits...without a shred of evidence to this Federal judge? Seriously? Wow!

According to this link, the Judge in the Affordable Care Act case made a rather political statement. For those of you who were opposed to the Sheriff expressing
