I am pursuing my MBA and just finished Economics and Finance courses. They have been eye opening as well as reason to be all the more frustrated at what goes on in politics and Media. Media is so much to blame for the way topics are discussed these days. I am talking about all media outlets, FOX, CNN, NBC, NPR etc etc. They never ask right questions, mostly they don't know what are relevant questions to ask. The politicians do nothing but spin whether they are on the right side or wrong.

I wrote some of my thoughts from what I have learned...

Thanks for the feedback. Just want to say about Rachel Maddow. While it is true she covers news in details, she may choose to not cover some relevant news and in that case just watching her can cause one to miss some news. Since she is left leaning, we may not get news on wrong doings of Democrats. For eg For the longest time I didn't know what was in Harry Reid's plan. There were plans coming out of everywhere and then on Fox republicans would complain that President has not put forth a plan. Isn't it the job of the legislative branch to actual write the policies based on the guidelines President gives? In that case Obama had repeatedly talked about balanced approach of reforming medicare and SS while closing loopholes. Isn't it the job of congress to actually see where the cuts can be made and where revenues be increased and create policies which is then implemented by the executive branch. Then why is everyone asking President to put forward a plan? I was a bit confused on that.

Thanks for the feedback and for the questions. Those are really good questions. I was totally against bank bailout before I took the macroeconomics class and learned about Federal reserve (central bank). That has been the single most important class I recommend everyone to take if given an opportunity.

"The candidates would have no "deep pockets" to appease after they were voted in returning the citizen power back to the individual citizen. Since the citizen is the only method of funding each vote counts loudly!"
