Looks like we get the option to have a Start button again.

I may or may not upgrade to this. My computer is old-ish and I don't want to kill her. ;)

I do have a start buttong though. I use Start8. I love it. So if you're interested in just the start button and don't want to upgrade the whole system, you could go that route. :)

So far 8.1 is free for those of us using 8 already.

The harddrive went out of my Vista computer and when I had the new one put in and got Vista reinstalled it runs so good and I really like Vista. I heard that in 2014 MS was going to stop putting out updates for it......I was really sad because there is no way I am using Windows 8 and the little retouches they did to 8.1.......Then I found out that MS understands that 8 is not going to take off no matter what.........Vista is now going to be supported till 2017........I would say by that time we could have Windows 15 or something........but I and many others are going to skip 8...........I just read the other day that they are still putting 7 on new computers...or you have the choice........

But I do think that kids like 8 because it is like using their cell phones but for a lot of people who want more than social things we need more........
