Federal Lifeline Program

For those of you that are interested the Federal Lifeline Program has expanded to offer discounts to eligible wireless telephone customers.  Previously you had to have a landline to receive the discount, but with modern advances they had to extend their offerings.  It looks like they're also looking into the possibility of extending this discount to broadband internet service as well.  Whether on unemployment, underemployed, employed only part time, or unemployed without unemployment every dollar saved counts so hopefully many of you will find this helpful.
