Do you celebrate Halloween at your job?

I've worked in both settings, those where people go so far as to dress up in costumes and those settings in which showing up in black and orange attire might result in some disciplinary action.  So, with Halloween being the start of the holiday season in my mind, I've been wondering if you all celebrate holidays at work?  Do you dress up for Halloween?  Do more people share candy?  Do you organize potluck lunches or anything else that's special?  If so, do you think it helps morale at your workplace or is it a distraction from everyone doing productive things?

Let me know--I'm curious! :)  Happy Halloween!

I guess it might not have helped when staff dressed up at one of the pharmaceutical companies where I worked, but as a passenger last week, I can say that seeing Southwest Airlines employees as a plane, skeleton and Fred, Wilma, Barney and Betty of The Flintstones, it was definitely fun that the employees dressed up for Halloween at work! I was surprised at the number of pirates and witches that TSA let through security lines, too :)

I've never had a job where people dressed up at work for Halloween. Did you find it helped or hindered?
