New week, and I have a new job!

So, I did start a new position last Monday. I actually leave for my first work trip today. I'm nervous! I don't feel that I had much time to prepare and I'll be training study teams on a totally new to me therapeutic area. I did have a three hour training call with my project lead on Friday, but everything with this new company has been a whirlwind. I am looking forward to a new paycheck, too, but I won't get that till the 22nd of this month.

Anyway, how are things going for all of you? Any new things in your offices, good or not so good?

There are other topics on the iVillage boards that I found interesting and wanted to share them with you, too. Have a good week!

Thanks!

So, my work trip is at the end already. It's been a whirlwind, though! I was in Indiana on Tuesday and stayed over in Las Vegas last night before flying to California early this morning to present to a group here today. I am tired, but I think it went ok--I will say that there is a learning curve that I'm still navigating. In a past job, I had to be in the same place in California, and I have enjoyed being back; I've gotten to the point where I am working with sites with which I have a history already. In a way, it's a bit more comfortable for me when I have familiarity with the area, even just for the travel planning.

I hope your week is going well, too!

I'm up really early this morning to catch another flight for a work trip--I have four site visits in differing cities this week. I'm actually a bit stressed about it. I don't really have any problems with anyone at work or anything, but I'm hard on myself--I worry that I'm not prepared enough or that I'm going to miss something. I've never missed a flight, but I have a lot of them to catch this week. Of course, there is my worry about finances, too, though I should get a reimbursement payment in a few days.

I hope you all start off the week well! If you need any advice or another perspective on an issue you're facing, don't hesitate to ask!
