Taking a cue from a couple of threads on other boards :)

Weekend Plans? http://www.ivillage.com/forums/comment/119842405#comment-119842405

Weekend!!! http://www.ivillage.com/forums/comment/119905921#comment-119905921

1. Any dates or travel planned in your weekend ahead?

2. Are you celebrating St. Patrick's Day Saturday, Sunday, or on Monday?

3. What's your preference, a weekend of relaxing or a weekend packed with activities?

Have a good Saturday and Sunday!

1. Any dates or travel planned in your weekend ahead?

Went to a charity ball last night and had a lot of fun catching up with old friends and made a few new ones.

2. Are you celebrating St. Patrick's Day Saturday, Sunday, or on Monday?

Nope.  Not Irish, not Catholic, and got way too many "home improvement projects" to tackle anyway!  ;-)

3. What's your preference, a weekend of relaxing or a weekend packed with activities?

Both, I guess it depends on my energy level.  If I have been working crazy hours or traveling a lot, probably relaxing.

How about you?  What would your "ideal weekend" look like?

That sounds fun! I did meet up with a new guy in my life on Saturday night, but he's been working overtime and had to work this weekend, too. So, we didn't do too much other than get fast food together and hang out. It was still good to see him.

I volunteered at the Runnin' of the Green, a 7K race/walk, here in Denver yesterday, and today, I'm wearing my green. My mom's maiden name is O'Donnell; so, I feel the need to celebrate a little at least :)

I always think I want to pack my weekends full of fun activities and seeing people, but honestly yesterday, I just wanted to lay on the couch and watch terrible TV shows online. I was tired. It's that time of the month for me, which sometimes just wears me out.

Hope everyone else had a good couple of days and is ready for the week ahead!

You can catch up with other community members about their weekend plans on other boards (Weekend Wondering......., http://www.ivillage.com/forums/comment/119784007#comment-119784007), and I'm curious about what you all have coming up, too!

1. Do you eat fish on Fridays before Easter?

2. What's the weather going to be like where you are this weekend? Warm and springy or still winterlike?

3. Any big activities planned, or are you looking forward to relaxing and taking life as it comes for the next couple of days?

Have a great weekend!

1. Do you eat fish on Fridays before Easter?

No, I had Long John Silver's for dinner on Friday, just like I did on many Lenten Friday nights as a kid--that was fun because lots of other families with kids in my Catholic elementary school would be at that restaurant, too.

2. What's the weather going to be like where you are this weekend? Warm and springy or still winterlike?

It was pretty springlike in Colorado. I went to play frisbee at a park with a friend on Saturday to take advantage of the weather. It got a bit chillier and windy last night.

3. Any big activities planned, or are you looking forward to relaxing and taking life as it comes for the next couple of days?

Other than playing frisbee, I hadn't really planned much. I stayed overnight with a family in a nearby small town this weekend--it was like a mini vacation. That was fun and relaxing. I don't usually take naps, but I did this weekend.

Hope you're week is off to a good start!
