Yay--it's the weekend!

I am happy that I likely won't be fielding any work calls this Saturday and Sunday even if I have things that I still need to wrap up for work. I just finished planning the coming week's travel, and I still need to work on some of my trip reports and expense reports.

I started taking some online college classes through Coursera and Saylor. Have any of you tried anything on these sites? I'm actually happy with my experiences so far, but I also need to complete some homework and make sure I get in on some of the class discussions this weekend.

I hope you all enjoy your Saturday and Sunday and get a chance to relax!

Blah. I have to leave on a work trip tonight. I don't really like the feeling of knowing that work is taking away my weekend day; even before I have to leave, I just have the thought of it in my mind all the hours beforehand. It really ruins the day.

Anyway, I'll be heading out to Arizona this evening, then back to Colorado tomorrow night. I have another trip at the end of the week, but at least I'll be in town for a fundraiser on Tuesday.

I hope you've all had a good weekend so far and enjoy the rest of it!

I don't have to leave for work travel this weekend, which is good, but it's a bit weird at home right now since J has moved to Texas--it's quiet and I miss him. I still have my dogs, and there are things I can do this weekend. It's Mission Day for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training summer season team; so, I'm planning on being at the team's long run tomorrow to cheer for them and help them remember why they're running and fundraising.

Other than that, I do have work to do yet. The end of the month always gets a bit busier with catch up tasks.
