Books that Helped Me Cope

Hey there - I'm new to the group, but have enjoyed reading the discussion boards. I've been underemployed for about two years now, since I graduated in 2010. I can't believe it's even possible to have been underemployed for so long, though I know there are people here who have been persevering even longer. I was completely unemployed for almost 6 months, before securing my first contract position. Anyways, I feel that it's always good to stay hopeful, and cup half full ... because what's the use in the alternative? With all my free time, I started doing more reading ... here are a few gems that I discovered (some job-related, some not)

Here's a few books that helped me stay inspired:

When Smart People Fail - by Carol Hyatt: This book is so smart, and it helped me think of my job search more broadly. I realized that part of my problem initially was that I was limiting myself to a narrow idea of what my dream job was. Also, I was being way too critical of myself, and letting myself believe that I was a failure completely, because my job search was faltering.
