Have your considered starting your own business with direct sales?

WIth jobs being so hard to find, I was wondering if anybody here has considered going into business for themselves with direct sales?

I have actually tried two and was wondering if anybody else had done so as well and what your experiences were?

My first try was Avon SEVERAL years ago!  I put my all into it, but just couldn't make it work.  The costs were always greater than what I brought in, especially with having to buy new books every couple of weeks.

Needless to say I was really hesitant to try another, but now I find myself selling Scentsy and I'm finding that I do actually enjoy it, which suprises me more than it does anybody else!  Not even 3 months in and I'm already getting protomoted which is really cool!

What direct sales companies have your tried?  How did you like it?

I started a business with Rodan + Fields Dermatology that I do from home and it was the best decision I ever made. I now work with the two most famous dermatologists in the world - the two ladies who created ProActiv Acne Solutions - Dr. Rodan and Dr. Fields. But now that they have a clinical skincare line for anti-aging, sun damage, adult acne, and even sensitive skin like rosacea and psoriasis. They are going to be even more successful than they were with ProActiv. And luckily they have made this company a network marketing company so that anyone can join in their success. I only joined 6 months ago and now I am able to be a stay at home momma for my baby!!! It is definitely a blessing! Check out my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/rodanandfieldsjennyg

Through the years I have tried many, Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware etc...A year ago I partnered with a wellness company that's been around since 1985 and growing fast. Anyway I had to pay bills and since I don't have much of a warm market I put it on the back burner. Well now work is slow, and I want to work from home so I am diving back in.My team leader is now a Director 3, it takes a lot of networking but it is doable. It is the only Consumer Direct Marketing of its kind. So I am here and elsewhere networking. I am going to make this work, I have no inventory, no collecting money, do one presentation and get to work.

Yes I have, like a few above, more than once. I tried Amway and Market America, and with no support from my husband, found it too stressful to continue. I decided to try a more traditional direct sales company, Pampered Chef. Though I am still technically a consultant, I think I've had 3 parties in 3 years. A few months ago I found It Works Global and have already made more profit than I have in any of the other businesses I've tried, combined. It Works is a debt free company with a first to market product, not to mention the rest of the amazing supplements and skin care products. I'm so excited to be a part of this company and my amazing team, I just want to share it with everyone. If anyone is interested in that crazy wrap thing or any of our other products, my website is www.seajay.myitworks.com
