Do you have set hours? Can you use flextime at your discretion or do you need permission to deviate from your schedule?

Much better than nothing, but not perfect right? Having to get supervisor approval too often makes you lose that feeling of flexibility. Still, you have to love getting done early on Fridays - sweet!

I also really like having the "rules" clearly explained and the stipulation that you can't work more than 12 hours per day. Smart. Thanks for sharing!!

We can flex at my job, but there are some rules with that.  We can only flex out early 2 days of the week, we can never work more than 12 hours in a day, and on the days you work an abbreviated day you have to work a minimum 4 hours unless okayed by your supervisor.  You can work 4 10 hour shifts vs 5 day a week  but it has to be approved.  At my company most people flex out early on Friday (myself included) so that doesn't have to be okayed by your boss, but if you do any other day of the week it does have to be pre-approved.  Our hours have to be worked between 5:30 am-8pm
