Welcome to the boards.

You pretty much can do anything from home. You can run service based businesses such as an errand service, a dog walking business, a bookkeeping service etc. Or you can run a product based business. You can sell on ebay or etsy or join a direct sales company or get into affiliate marketing.

If none of that interests you, there are call centers that hire people to answer phones at home.

What are you leaning toward?

My husband and I just opened an online store. That may be a viable option for you. We sell products that we ourselves like, which make "working" a whole lot more fun. The best part ofcourse, is working from home.

The original poster is a sales representative for a company called Melaleuca.

One of the things I suggest is reading through some of the archives here. Lots of topics about working at home have been discussed.

You have to decide if you want to look for an employer who will hire you from home or start your own business.

If you like writing try problogger.net to see what they have available. If you have considered selling Avon, Tupperware or MaryKay, take a look at the list of direct sales companies out there at www.dsa.org (direct sales association)

Hope this helps a bit.
