well hubby and i are in the talks of having our first baby. and while we both really want me to be able to stay home, we really do need at least a little extra income to live comfortably. i have no clue where to start, there are so many scams out there!! i enjoy taking pictures, love animals (have 3 dogs and 2 horses), computer savvy, fairly quick with the typing, have done plenty of customer service type jobs. whats out there?

What about an pet walking service? What about combining your love of animals with photography and opening a photography business specializing in pets?

If you will have a baby at home, you're best off with something you can do entirely online and not phone work - although there are lots of call center positions out there with companies like Alpine Access, 1800flowers.com, Convergys and others. (Look at their websites to see if they're hiring.)

You can also do online tutoring if you have a degree. Tutor.com hires people who have a non-teaching degree, but if you do happen to have that education background, there are many more possibilities.

If you're a quick typist, you should consider doing general transcription. Unlike medical and legal, which

I love the animal photgraphy biz idea! Just remember, a scam is actually pretty easy to detect. It asks for money, without really telling you what the money is for, or the money is in association with something like information or training.

A job will hire you, no money will exchange hands. A business will require a start-up, but you will know 100% what you are getting and the retail value will exceed what you are paying. :-)

A good company wants you to succeed, and you can feel it with your gut.

Best of luck!

Debbie

Like most Americans, we all need to save money and make more money!
