Hello everyone,
An off the wall question....what's the last movie that you saw? What is your review?

I haven't been to a theater in a really long time. I've seen movies on DVD though.

That's great! I know my son and some of his friends when to see it and thought it was good.
I am thinking about going to go see Couples Retreat in the next few days just for a break. And maybe go out to dinner with the hubby and kids....

I just saw Avatar with my husband. It was a long movie, but I wanted to believe in it all, so it was quite enjoyable. It was written and directed by James Cameron, the man behind Titanic.

It had a good message.

Once a year, on Christmas Day, we go to the theater and participate in the complete Movie-Going Experience, with delicious-bad-for-you popcorn, soda, etc.

Last year, we went to see Marley & Me. Yesterday, we went to see Sherlock Holmes.

As with any movie, if you're into that sort of stuff, you'll enjoy it. If not, you won't. We are, and we loved it.

But, remind me to get there a lot sooner next year. I didn't order tickets online like I normally do. WHAT was I THINKING?!? I had completely forgotten about ticket lines! Then, the snack lines! Ha!

We were still in our seats in plenty of time, but we certainly did NOT have pick of the seating. Turned out fine, as that was a movie you didn't need prime seating for.

Usually, the theater is empty for the early matinees. Yesterday, there was nary a seat left for the show.

But, it is our tradition.
