Hello all, We have finally made it to Wednesday! So what are you planning to accomplish for the remainder of the week? Anything special? Are you playing catch up or on you on track?
I'm on track. In addition to my business, I work about 30 hours per week outside the house. Yesterday was a day off from that job and I spent about 8 hours here at home doing what needed to be done :)
My goal this week is to get one of my blogs moved from blogger to my own new domain using wordpress. I have someone who will help me tonight with that.
Yeah for us! We are all on track and where we need to be. I am on track with my patient assessments and I actually was able to get some much needed housecleaning done. Of course, I have much more to complete but it's a start anyway, lol. And my kids had an early dismissal today so I had to be home in the afternoon. So I decided to make the afternoon a marketing day, with phone calls and emails.
I got stood up by the guy who was to help me :( I'm so frustrated at this point. I actually won this service in a contest.
He was to give me a one hour consultation. We set the time and date. When he called, he said he had only 20 minutes and we'd finish the next week
He never called. He says his calendar crashed. Ok so we scheduled for tonight. He didn't call. I emailed him and he said he wrote down a different time. Hmm he chose the time.
I'm just really frustrated. Winning a prize should not be this tough or contain this many "oopsies"
I am sorry that it's been such a frustrating time for you. I agree. When you win something, it should be a fun thing, not something that you become annoyed at. I wonder if he realizes the bad PR he is creating with you?
Oh I'm so sorry you're getting the run around with your prize. If I were you I'd contact the event organizers of whatever function you won his services at and let them know how miserable your experience has been so far. Perhaps that will get them to think twice about letting him donating a prize in the future.
The guy did call. He said he was not able to help me but he'd refer me to his friend who could.
The friend emailed me and asked what I wanted. I told him. His next email asked for my log in and password for BOTH my blogger account and my GoDaddy account.
I emailed my friend April who does this for a living. I asked her why he needed my log in info. She explained. I hired her. She's doing the transfer.
I did get one more email asking for my password. I ignored the email.
In the meantime I had also won an iPod shuffle from the original contest. Never got it. Have written the site owner 3 times. The 4th email she ignored. I went to her blog. She removed all posts and all advertisers along with her contact me info.
My assumption is she was in the scam with the two guys trying to get my password information. It just all happened to perfectly to have not been a scam.
So...while I never got the prizes, I did get pushed to move my blog to its own domain and someone I trust 100% is making the change for me.
