so confused about violence.
Has anyone seen the old craze has come back from the 80's? They're called the "Garbage Pail Kids".
My almost 10 year olds went with two friends to a local "Kasey's" nearby, and came back with these trading cards, stickers and tattoos, that were disgusting. And I don't mean gross like boogers, etc. I mean... violent cartoons of a javelen going through one of their bodies(that was the tattoo), brain's being grinded like sausages, gunshot wounds, etc. VERY VERY violent cartoons that are the market for kids.
SHouldn't someone be saying something to this company about how violent they are to kids?
I went through all of my kids cards, and threw away the "violent ones". THey were mad, but I explained to them that they weren't appropriate.
What do you think?
Here's the website that I found today on them. The brain grinding one is there. But not the other graphic ones.

Trading cards probably won't confuse a child about violence.
Seeing it happen at home will.
