can I prove it?

I'm Samantha, been married to a jerk for two years. We have two childern and I'm pregnant. He has been very verbally and emotionally abusive. He also has a drinking problem. Long story short, I've been in therapy since I had a miscarriag in July. My therapist is the one who helped me recognize the verbal/emotional abuse. I'm ready to leave and based on my testimony I was approved for immediate rental assistance by our local abuse intervention organization. H has told his parents and others that I exaggerated what was happening just to make him look bad. My question is, how can I prove that I haven't? My therapist has extensive notes as well as our marriage counseler, could that be helpful? I can't live like this anymore, but I'm not sure I can handle an ugly court battle over childsupport, custody and all of that. Just some other things: he just got his license back after two years b/c of a DUI. Since we've been married, I've reported he and his brother twice for leaving the house drunk and driving. After the first time, I actually went into early labor and had my second son a month early b/c of the stress. Two days after my miscarriage, he went out and drank all night and three times in the last month he's left me at home, sick ( I have severe morning sickness, I've been hospitalized twice for dehydration), to take care of our sons while he went and partied. The last time, the party started here and I had to make them leave after they woke the kids up several times and broke several of my things. Ugh...what do I do now? TIA Samantha

Hi and welcome -
Yes, those notes can be useful, if they are allowed in court.
