Feeling a bit better these last few days

I have been re-arranging the house and painting. Changing my environment, or rather improving it, is making a world of difference for me. I have been out and about for work this week and was really happy with the changes I am feeling. I was much more bright and cheerful when meeting people and approached problems in a positive way. It must have made a difference because there was a general mood of satisfaction amongst everyone at the end of the day. People seem a lot more friendly to me now as well. Not that they weren't before, but they seem much more open. I am willing to guess that it is because I am much more open. Before I would spend a lot of time looking at the ground and being relatively quiet and shy. I am now reaching out to shake hands, to even hug, and not holding back. Oh, and I was so flattered that this French guy I have met, while working in the field, several times in the last 2 years made a big effort to say a very nice hello and chat with me. I don't take it as necessarily meaning anything, but I have spent so many years feeling pretty horrible about myself that such attention just feels so nice.
Regarding the old situation involving he who doesn't deserve to be mentioned, no word from him. Last visit with son was the 6 of June and no further visits scheduled. He has then visited only one day (2 hours each) a month so far and asks for full custody. Go figure. And he refuses to pay child support, saying that I prevent him from getting a job and he has no money because of it. Um, my work banned him from the grounds. They won't give him a job because of his behavior. But gee, it isn't the only place on earth that one can get a job. Besides, why in *&^^ would I want him to be working in the same building as me? That would be a sure disaster. But enough about him who deserves no mention.
And let me share some lyrics with you as well. May we all find men who will sing these praises to us, because every one of us certainly deserves it.
Beautiful - Patrick Nuo
Like a thunderstorm on a summer day
She came out of nowhere and that can say
She´s a supernova shinin´ through the night
A never sleeping satellite
She´s a damn good reason for the sun to rise
When you see her smile in the morning light
When she cries, she cries a wishing well
Played hide and seek with the hounds of hell
She throws you down to take you high
Into her private sky
She´s so
Beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful
Beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful
Magical, mystical, irresistible, cosmical
A wonderful overkill and most of all beautiful
Ooooh ooh ooh aha
Ooooh ooh ooh
She´s so oooh ooh ooh
aha oooh ooh ooh
Beautiful
mmh so beautiful
You wanna call her name from the highest hill
And she´s better than a 5-million-dollar bill
She swims with you to atlantis´ coast
To keep you save while the world explodes
She´s diving down to keep you high
Inside her velvet sky
She´s so
Beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful
Beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful
Magical, mystical, irresistible, cosmical
A wonderful overkill and most of all beautiful
Ooooh ooh ooh
She´s so beautiful
She´s so oooh ooh ooh
Aha oooh ooh ooh
Beautiful
She´s a mermaid who´s left her fairytale
She wrote a brandnew song for the nightingale
Sometimes I think she´s invented but
Thank-god she´s made of flesh and blood.
She´s everything I´ve ever missed the more
But most of all she is
Beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful
Beautiful wonderful powerful magical mystical
Irresistible overkill and most of all beau-ti-ful
Ooooh ooh ooh
She´s so beautiful
She´s so oooh ooh ooh
Aha oooh ooh ooh
