I'm back, and happy to report that I have good news for a change. DH's grandma accepted a trache tube, which we never thought she would, and experienced a complete turnaround when she did. So, instead of attending a funeral as I thought I would, I get to come back with news of a recovery in progress!

Since there are many new posts and I have to go back to work tomorrow :P, I probably won't have time to catch up on every single thread. Therefore, if you think something needs my attention, just e-mail me with a link. I would imagine that Gonna was able to cover most anything, but if you want to fill me in, drop me a line.

A bit of humor. SIL came along with us, and Al thought he'd get cutesy and say that he wouldn't watch DN unless he could stay in her house for the week. Well, she was frazzled and didn't know what else to do, so she told him he could. In swooped DN to save the day. The very first night, she locked Al out of all the bedrooms, and told him, "It's Mommy's house, not yours! Stay out!" He departed, taking DN to her babysitter (who can be trusted to actually watch her) for the rest of the week. I suppose such behavior isn't to be encouraged, but I nearly died laughing.

Big high five to DN on that one. I'm glad to hear that things are looking up for your DH's family.

Oh, I think that behaviour is absolutely to be encouraged.
