The last time I posted I was getting ready to do SOMETHING about my situation. Then,
on 5/28 one of my beloved cats died suddenly, and it really affected me. She just got sick, wouldn't eat or drink water, was throwing up slightly. I took her to the Vet. He ran a blood test on her. She didn't have a fever, and didn't cry out in pain. They gave her some IV med and fluids. I took her home for the night. I was able to hold her one last time before she died. I had a feeling that she wasn't going to make it. It was an infection of some kind. She had been up-to-date on all of her shots. I had her cremated.
I got the ashes back in a box, and stuck it in a drawer for now. I am still not over it. I now have 3 cats left to give my love to.
My job with the company that went out of business is fast approaching the end. I expect to get my walking papers before the end of June. If I have to go on unemployment, I will. I have been busy applying for office positions in my area, in the meantime. I go for a written test on Tuesday for a local School District position (Office Assistant). I had already passed the typing test required for it. I still haven't started my Notary business. It looks like it will be a part-time thing to start out with. I can always change to full-time in the future.
I wish I could have done what I had posted I was going to do the last time I was here. Nothing has changed. I am praying daily for the strength to do what I need to do. Please keep my in your thoughts & prayers.
