Finding it hard to understand how the boy she married turned into a monster that put her down at every momment in every way. It seems like he may have married her just to get back at his parents (they are nice people who ar Christian). My family and I are Wiccan. I need to know how to help her regain her confidence now that is revealing things to me.

Advice?

is a link that may help. Suggest her to go counseling. Just be supportive, non judgemental and provide a listening ear..and support/help.

The things she has experienced will slowly start to bubble out as time passes. Listen to her and tell her that she is safe, wonderful and it was not her fault. She did nothing to bring it on. And, please direct her to a domestic violence org for counseling. I always really recommend DV group counseling bc it did wonders for me personally. Sorry she's going through this, but it's great that she's out.

Just listening, letting her talk.
