AAAHHH!!! I keep writing this post and it keeps disappearing on me!!!!!
Okay, H has found a place to live at a great price (under $300/month, including utilities, but he'll have a roommate) Anyhow, in NC you must be separated for one year and one day before you can file for divorce. Therefore, I need a separation agreement. I work part-time right now, but will be having a baby in 10 weeks. I am a full-time student. I'm 200% below poverty level without his income. He has a wonderful job with A LOT of earning potential. I can't afford much in the way of a lawyer, so I want to get as much down in writing as I can before I have the lawyer look over it and draw up the agreement to minimize cost there. This is what I have so far. Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!!!! What am I missing? What needs to change? Where am I short-changing myself? Thanks so much!!!!!!

I agree w/Blue.
Thanks for your responses ladies. Fortunatly, I took him off of my bank account and blocked his ATM card a few weeks ago. I also already get a Pell Grant, but everything that doesn't go to books and tuition pays for daycare. However, without STBX's income, I'll get more starting in the fall (August 2005). Unfortunatly, there is NOTHING legal aid will do for me. Unless he is suing me for custoday they cannot help. I've called and called them, talked to several different people and this is the response I've gotten every time. After making A LOT of phone calls, the cheapest atty I can find (for initial consultation) that has an opening anytime soon (most are making appts three months out) is going to cost $200!!!!! My mom is going to loan me the money, but man, she will be on me to get it back. I was just going to put it on MY credit card, but I cannot find it anywhere!! I put it up so that
Look at www.womenslaw.org and see if they have any organizations listed.
