I absolutely agree with the other posters. We have ALL been there at one time or another and trying to talk about abuse with people who haven't been abused/don't know diddly squat about abuse is sort of like beating your head against a wall. Others only see the "public face"; the nice, kind, 'who, me?', and 'poor me' face that it seems all abusers have and use to make us crazy. They don't get to see the ugliness, mental, verbal, emotional, financial, sexual, spiritual and physical abuse that gets heaped on us for breathing wrong or some such inane reason. And we the victims hide and/or deny the truth of the situation because it IS humiliating, embarrassing and degrading to have to admit to yourself, not to mention another human being, that you are being abused in the first place.

So, please post again. We don't judge because we all know "how it is". And once you start talking about it, it gets easier to talk about, espcially when your thoughts, feelings and impressions are validated. We are here to help and would like you to post again.
