Obstacles to my leaving - advice needed

We own 2 cars, so if my daughter moves out she will be needed one of our cars. When I move out, can I take the car although he is half owner? Should I talk to a lawyer first? Also, we have a 12 year old who I know will be upset and NOT want to leave her familiar surroundings, even though mentally it will be far far better. Should I talk to the child counselor first?

Thanks for yourh help,

Diana

I'd say contact a lawyer about the car situation. As far as your daughter goes you probably want to speak to a family/child psychologist. My oldest DS (4yo) was NOT happy about his dad being gone. It's been six months now and he's getting much more used to it. It just takes time and you have to do what's in her best interest whether she likes it or not. Good Luck! *hugs*
