I purchased a CD yesterday, which is something that I regularly stay away from, my money generally has other places to go - bills, prescriptions, food, stuff like that.

Good one, Gabby! I've *really* been in the mood for a good road trip lately . . .

1) Who are you taking on the road trip with you? - My BF

2) What are you driving? - MY CAR! A "paradise blue-green" 1995 Honda del Sol -- it's a convertible with a targa top, and can only carry two passengers, hence the very *brief* answer to #1 above!

3) What is blaring out of your radio? - Anything by the Doors

4) Where are you headed? Or are you just roaming? - Well, *this week* my destination of choice is Niagara Falls, but that could change any minute! LOL!

Love & Hugs,

Emm

Ahhhhh,,,,freedom! Since you would like a car, I'll leave MissPiggy at home!:)

I'd be off on my own, driving one of those new Amphicars from England, heck might as well have car and boat all in one! I would be blasting Bob Segar, Meatloaf, Led Zep, The Doors, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bonnie Raitt, Melissa Ethridge, Muddy Waters, BB King, etc! Got to have lots of music!:) And I would have no idea where I'm going, I'm just going!:)

OH this could be fun...

It would be a 1965 ford mustang convertible the color blue(top down of course).

My kids are with me of course.

Well listen to "me and Emiley" first and then what ever hits us. But you can never go on a road trip with out the Eagles.

And were going to anyplace in the world that we want to go and NO ONE can STOP us or tell we can't.

And we finally find happiness and peace.(Until the car breaks down!HA HA!)

Remembering when we were 16 and 17 years old cruising with our friends on the back roads listening to the radio and laughing and talking. It brings back to when life was easy and fun. I hope to make it that way again soon.

Hugs,

Christina

This is a good one! Just did this last August!

Ok..the car would be anything fast! :) Like speed... convertible is optional...

Who would be with me... hmmm.. when I went last year it was my friend Jess and we had a great time... but she did flash all the truckers! haha... If my husband would be sober and in a good mood it would be him otherwise it would be Jess.. I do miss all those days of cruising with your girlfriend and werent so paranoid and controlled... need that freedom back!

Where would we be going.. hmm last year was Myrtle Beach.. how about west coast this time.. we are going to California..

Music.. lots of it.. ranging from classic rock to country... now we did find one of our fav cruising songs last year was "Beer for my horses" it is a good sing along drive faster kind of song! :)

Dang now I am ready for another trip!!.. the road is calling my name and it sucks considering I have no car right now! haha

anyone ready to go???

Hugs

1) Who are you taking on the road trip with you?

>> Having just spent 11 hours in a wrangler with dh, dd, and ds - well - I'd opt to go alone!!

2) What are you driving?

>> but of course my wrangler!!

3) What is blaring out of your radio?

>> If I were going for 2 weeks - I'd be done - so my finally freedom song is Lynrd Skynrd - Freebird, followed by Styx, ELO, Jodi Messina (lead foot down on my accelerator, and the rear view mirror torn off cause I ain't never looking back . . .), Kiss, Bee Gees - (Massachuset's or Tragedy or ok anything of theirs) - Neil Diamond - oh the list would go on!

4) Where are you headed? Or are you just roaming?

>> I'd head north for some real ocean time then where ever the mood takes me! Have to find some mud - I enjoyed playing in the mud!!

I need this right now!

1) Who are you taking on the road trip with you?

My kids and my best friend and her kid

2) What are you driving?

Durango with a sun roof and privacy glass!

3) What is blaring out of your radio?

For me, anything trance, new wave or house. For my best friend, anything country or rock. For the kids, anything new, pop, alternative.

4) Where are you headed?

To Hurrican harbor, then to LA, then up thru AZ and NV and then to Reno, then back home!

Ahhh...too bad it couldn't last.

I usually post on the sister-board, but when I read this QOTW, it was soooooo inspiring I had to join in.......

Who's with me? My wonder-dog, of course! He loves road trips just like me!

What am I driving? A 1968 Pontiac GTO convertible - Green w/white racing stripes

((LOVE those muscle-cars))

What's playing? All my favorite 60's and 70's music (especially The Monkees)

Where are we headed? It's too DANG HOT - can't stand it - we're going to Vermont, or Maine, somewhere COOL (and I mean temperature-wise) heck, maybe Canada, even. Once we're sufficiently cooled off, I think we will head down to Graceland, and jam some Paul Simon on the way !!

WOW.....it's good to dream, ain't it??

Thanks for the get-away y'all !!!

Can't beat a road trip.

I'd take my friend Sara. We'd drive ... well, I say it would have to be something four-wheel drive. Music? How about Shudder to Think, "50,000 B.C." Where are we going? Who knows. This is a fantasy road trip, so I say no destination and no deadline to return.
