I realized last night that the 23rd is a Sunday. Do they let people out of jail on a Sunday? Or do yall think they will let him out earlier like Friday or Saturday? Maybe he will have to wait for Monday. I called the officer I have been dealing with and he said that he would get back to me. I wish he would call me and tell me that my x got in a fight or something and has to stay in jail longer. I know that when he gets out he will be looking for me. I can only imagine how angry he is at me. It has been nice not to have to worry about him for a while, but now Im even more worried. Before yall fuss at me, I am planning on going and staying at the shelter. I have already talked with them and they told me to come whenever. I know that I cant stay there forever but it is the safest place for me to be when he gets out. Staying at the shelter will be easier this time because i have time to prepare. Chris is going to keep my Pets for me and my son is going to stay with a friend. Thanks for listening to me.

The most important thing, though, is that you keep yourself safe. Have you discussed the situation with your employer and what steps have they taken to insure your safety while in the workplace? This freak has already proven that he has no respect for the RO that is currently against him and just plain doesn't care. This type of abuser is the scariest and most dangerous, because they simply do not believe that the "rules" apply to them. Good luck, Van, I will be keeping you in my prayers. Also, ask for an emergency cell phone that you can use to quickly contact the police should he show up at your place of work. Keep that phone charged up and on your person, easily accessible at all times. Also, find out if you can legally keep pepper spray on hand. Considering all that this guy has put you through already, any and all measures you enact to keep yourself safe are completely justified. Hang in there. Mama Harmony
