Thanks for posting this, angel.  I keep telling everyone to be sure and check out the board's website because it's a GOLDMINE OF GREAT INFORMATION!  The wonderful thing about this board's community website is that all of the info that is spread all over the internet in various places can ALL be found right there in the very same place.  It's links are active and you can click on them and it will take you to various places.  The community website was built several years ago by cl-wishful78 and she put TONS of really great info there, and she keeps it updated even though she is no longer cl.  And I am SO very grateful to her for it.  Not only will you find outstanding checklists, things to look for and resources galore, there's also a section called "Our Stories", where you can find a lot of former board member's stories, including mine.  It also has "The AWakening" and "The First One Hundred Days", both things that I HIGHLY recommend to someone who is contemplating leaving an abusive relationship or has just left one.  Many of our members said "The First One Hundred Days" is what helped them hang on to their sanity when they were first getting out.  Y'all check it out, you will be amazed at what all is on it.  The link can be found in the opening paragraph welcoming you to this board.  Let me know what y'all think.

When I was using my son's iPod I couldn't see it, but now that I am back using my desk-top I can...:smileywink:...

I have been here on ivillage a long time and remember cl-wishful78...

It is a great Resource and I find myself going back to it.

Today I saw my "Abusive" ex but he didn't see me...:smileyhappy:...

So glad I moved.

It is wonderful to wake up safe and go to sleep safe...
