Should I Return His Items?

I haven't seen or spoken to my ex-boyfriend since March, that's when he assaulted me and I called the police. I recently found 3 of his movies that he had lent me and I certainly don't want to keep them. His pre-trial is this Monday and I don't plan on going (I'm not required, it's between him, his attorney and the prosecutor. Sure wish I DID have a say in all this,) but I can easily give these movies to the advocate and she can give them to him. The Judge issued a "No Contact" order back in April for 1 yr so I know if he wanted them back, there is no way for him to ask. Bad idea or do you think that would be ok? I say yes; my mom says no. Any advice?

pikmin,

I would suggest you examine your motives. Are you giving them back to finally get rid of him? Or are you doing it for the small albiet indirect conduct? If its the former, by all means give them to your advocate and GET RID OF HIM! Bon voyage!!

I think giving them to the advocate would be a good idea. If they're out of your house, the temptation of the contact they would bring is no longer there, and you can move on.

LOLOL oops, did I say that out loud?

real answer: Get rid of them via advocate and forget that guy!
